



This was a happy collaboration, once again at the Greystone showcase in Beverly Hills; my commission was to evoke a Bohemian Lounge. This is a playroom for the Bright Young Things, conjuring up an Eastern den fit for Stephen Tenant and Cecil Beaton.


The smaller space occupied by these over-mantel panels required a design that could provide visual cohesion with the surrounding environ by complementing rather than overpowering (private Residence, Sewickly, PA).

In this bath belonging to a young woman, I wanted to reference a certain Brady bunch aesthetic, mixing in a little hippie Eastern fantasy.

While many clients desire ornamental work on dining room ceilings , the height of the room may not be adequate. Dining room walls, such as the one shown here are another attractive alternative (private residence, Manalapan, FL).

This neo-classical freize provided a lovely frame for the Venitian finish previously done.

As can be seen by the scale of this over-mantle, such spaces can also require much larger designs (private residence, Naples, FL).
Here, Mr. Greco's ability to expertly incorporate the sconces and mantelpiece into the ornamental decoration was essential to the success of the design. In this case he similarly assimilated the clock and candlesticks into the overall effect.

This nursery mural suggests fairy tale fantasy without resorting to princess cliché. Please view the images below for detail.



The owners who commissioned these pieces for their Jupiter Isle property held a particular fondness for playful, yet well executed painted figures. Their taste ranged from the realistic (an albino peacock above) to the fanciful (stylized sea creatures and a martini-serving blackamoor below).

Subdued coloring adds a peaceful calm to this mural. The classical references are a nod to the client’s Greek heritage and love of wine.

For this young stylish client I wanted to play with traditional rose painting but push the design forward.

Lastly, this garden scene shows how trompe l'oeil can add warmth and interest. The owner of this Boca Residence in Florida requested a scene to complement and accentuate the natural light of her day room, while avoiding the heavier formality of sofa-sized framed paintings.
